Ok, here is the rules on powerplaying. They way I see it, there are three kinds:
Major Powerplaying: Taking complete and utter control of someone else's character. Making them say and do things completely out of their personality. Killing or fatally injuring them without permission from the user who created the character.
Minor Powerplaying: Taking minor control of someone's character for a short time. ex. making someone's character walk across a room, read a passage from a book, ask a question, etc. Most people on the site roleplay like this.
No Powerplaying: Controling only your character. No one else's. You can't so much as make a character sit down unless it's your character.
Now, on this site, most of us do minor roleplaying. Major roleplaying is not allowed without permission from the character creator's consent. If you wish not to have your character powerplayed, just state it in an OOC in your first post of that roleplay. ex. ||ooc: Please don't powerplay my character|| If you don't want any powerplaying in a roleplay state it either in the roleplay name or in the beginning of the roleplay in an OOC.
Any further questions, please PM me.
